Ahh and there’s yet another beauty and makeup haul… 🙄 This time I do regret it a bit, spending that money on makeup instead of spending it on some bits and bobs for my flat. I don’t actually have a flat yet but you can never start early enough with buying some pieces for your kitchen or bathroom, right?
I placed three orders on Beautylish, Feelunique and on Douglas, which are three amazing websites for getting beauty and skincare stuff, makeup, fragrances and basically everything else beauty related.
Starting with the ‘smallest’ order, which I placed on Beautylish, where I got the It Cosmetics CC Cream in the shade ‘Fair’. I have used it quite a lot already, just like most of the other products as well, and I freaking love it! Now I can totally agree and relate to everyone else who keeps talking about this CC cream. I have recently seen Victoria from Inthefrow talking about this product and she absolutely adores this as well so I thought I should give it a try myself! Turns out, it’s the best ‘base product’ I have ever used so far!
The next order I placed was the one on Douglas, where I got the most products actually! I got three samples, of which I have tried two already and I love them! The samples I got where the Lancôme Monsieur Big Mascara, the Benefit Ka Brow! in the shade 3 and the Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Moisturiser, which I haven’t tried yet. But both the mascara and the brow cream-gel are amazing!
As for the products I got myself I want to start with my absolute favourite out of all the new makeup products I got! It’s the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer in the shade ‘NC15’ and oh my God, this concealer is incredible! The shade matches my skin tone perfectly, it’s super easy and comfortable to blend and it stays put all day long – I think I’ve found my new concealer-love! ?
I also got another concealer just because I’ve been wanting to try it for quite some time: the Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer in the shade ‘Fair Neutral’. I’m not so sure with that one yet but I’ll definitely have to give it a few more tries before stating my final opinion on it!
The last two bits I got from Douglas are the MAC Fix + Skin Refresher / Finishing Mist – absolutely love that as well already – and the Benefit Hoola Lite Bronzer.
However, I think the ‘normal’ Hoola Bronzer would’ve been a tad better for me actually because the Lite version is a lot warmer in terms of colour and undertone, which can make my skin look really weird but when you blend it well it does look great on fair skin too.
The third and final order I placed was the one on Feelunique, which is one of my favourite websites to shop for makeup and beauty products! On there I also got a sample, this time I got the Giorgio Armani Sky di Gioia Eau de Parfum and it smells absolutely amazing!
The first products I got myself are two bits from NARS: the Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade Light 1 ‘Chantilly’ and the Eyeshadow Duo in the shade ‘All About Eve’. I’m not so sure on this concealer either, just like with the Urban Decay one I mentioned before, but like I said with that one as well, I do have to give this a few more tries before deciding whether I love it or not. The eyeshadow duo is simply stunning, though! It’s very well pigmented and the shades are SO pretty! It’s perfect for using it every day and the sleek packaging makes it even prettier, ha!
The last two items I got are the Tanya Burr Cosmetics Enchanted Dreams Eye Palette, which you already know I love everything about, and the Caudalie Eau De Beauté, which I’ve been wanting to try for such a long time already and now that I’ve got it, I kind of regret not having purchased this sooner!
As you can see I spent quite a bit of money on makeup and beauty again… But I’m in love with almost everything already and I will make sure to keep you guys updated on most of the products with a few posts and reviews if you’d like! 😊
What’s your favourite item from this haul? x
