After having talked about how I care for my hair yesterday, I want to talk to you about how I curl my hair in today’s post!
Lately, I haven’t really had the time in the morning to make an effort with my hair – or my makeup – but when I feel like curling my hair, I always use the Remington Silk Curling Wand, which I got a couple years ago and is still going strong!
I part my hair into layers before curling it, I’m sure you’ve seen lots of people doing it like this before! So I take the first layer, which is the one closest to my neck, if that makes sense, and start curling it, the rest of my hair being clipped to the top of my head.
I make my way through the first layer and leave the curling wand on each piece of hair for about 15 to 20 seconds at 180°C before slowly and carefully dropping the curl and letting it cool.
After that, I take the second layer of hair and clip back the rest on top of my head. Again, I curl each piece for about 15 to 20 seconds, making my way around my head and moving on to the last layer. I make sure to part my fringe in the middle and curl it on both sides to make it look a bit neater.
To make sure the curls last throughout the day, I spray on some hairspray as well but before that I let them cool completely; I just feel like the curls last a lot longer that way! The hairspray I’m using is the Pantene Pro-V 24 Hour Volume Hairspray, which is by far my favourite hairspray ever! It’s so lightweight and easy to brush out but still holds the curls incredibly well, love it!
How do you like to style your hair? x
