While writing this I actually listened to the Hip Hop Mixtape playlist on Spotify and I’m a little shocked about my newly found taste in music lately. That’s just my kind of music recently if I’m honest haha 😛
For today’s post, however, I’m going to talk to you about an important question when it comes to hair and how to make it more voluminous!
Since I’ve been to the hairdresser a few weeks ago to dye my hair blond (not completely, but it’s kind of a balayage style now) I really want to take a lot more care of it. And why not do that combined with heading for the extra bit of volume as well?
The products I’m going to mention are in the order I normally use them to create a head full of volume.
John Frieda| Luxurious Volume 7 Day Volume In-Shower Treatment
I’ve been using this since the Beauty Blogger Café last month because we were able to get our hands on this product while being there and I’m so glad I did! I use this every other time I wash my hair because, let’s be real, the 7 Day Volume this promises is surely not going to last seven days! But it does give my hair a nice amount of volume and texture every time I use it. My shampoo is the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Clay Shampoo, by the way, and it’s an amaaazing combination, I love it!
Guhl | Blow-Dry Lotion
This gem of a hair product is said to protect your hair from the heat when blow drying it and making it easier for you to actually style your hair if you want to. I only use it for protection, but the good thing about this is that it doesn’t make my hair feel heavy at all!
Irresistible Me | Jade Hair Straightening Brush
After I let my hair air dry or after I’ve blow dried it, I use the Irresistible Me Jade Hair Straightening Brush to give it a nice, soft and voluminous finish! I showed you in the last post about this ceramic brush that it’s so easy to use and it works wonders on your hair, so I thought it would only be right to include it in here as well! It does not only straighten my hair but also gives more texture and volume to it. Such a must-have for me ever since I got it!
Pantene Pro-V | Volume Creation Hairspray
And last but not least, to fix all the work from before, I use a hairspray, preferably one to give extra volume. I’ve tried multiple hairsprays that promised instant volume whatsoever but didn’t satisfy me in any way but now I finally found one that’s just perfect! It’s the Volume Hairspray from Pantene Pro-V and thanks to the lovely stylists from Braun who styled my hair and used this afterwards because otherwise I probably would’ve never got the chance to discover this!
How do you try to achieve a full head of volume?
