Skincare has become another big category on my blog recently. I never thought that I’d blog about things like moisturisers, serums, facial oils or whatsoever in any of my posts or even write up posts dedicated to such products only.
The brand SAMAYA has been featured on my blog a few times now and it’s fast become one of my favourite skincare brands; especially with their three different Dosha ranges. Everyone, who wants to try out their products, should take a little ‘test’ where you’re assigned one of the three Doshas: Vata, Pitta or Kapha. My Dosha normally is Pitta but I was very kindly sent the Anti-Ageing Cream from the Vata range a few weeks ago to try and see if I liked that one as well!
The Pitta range is lovely from what I have tried so far (the cleanser and the anti-ageing oil) but I just don’t like the smell at all! And because I mentioned that in the last post about a SAMAYA product and the lovely girls from the PR team read that, they thought I might like the smell of the Vata range better. It was said to smell like roses so of course, I liked the sound of that!
When I used the cream for the first time, I tested the smell first. And it smells SO good! It does smell like roses and makes applying the cream so much more comfortable!
I always use the cream in the morning and in the evening before applying a primer or after cleansing my face with the PIXI Glow Tonic. Because of the pump on top, it’s very easy to get the right amount of product to apply to your face.
Another thing that I really like about the Vata cream is the consistency. It’s very light and not sticky at all. It also absorbs very quickly when it’s on the skin, leaving you with a very fresh and soft feeling.
The packaging of the SAMAYA products, in general, is also very lovely, just thought I’d mention that here as well! It’s very simple yet very pretty and looks lovely on my dressing table!
What do you think about this cream? Do you like the sound of it? x
