Usually, I try my best to stick to my skincare routine, no matter the season or time of year. But recently, I’ve been trying and testing some new and old skincare bits just to see how my skin reacts and if it makes any difference in the condition of my skin. It’s behaving a bit weird lately and I can’t find the reason for it so I hope it’s going to change again with these new products!
First up, I’ve started using a few drops of pure peppermint oil in my moisturiser in the morning – it makes my skin look so radiant and healthy and it makes my skin feel super prepped for applying makeup afterwards! The one I’m using is the Grace & Stella Peppermint Oil 100& Pure & Natural and I not only love the effect it has in combination with my moisturiser but also the smell!
There are also two moisturisers that I’ve been testing and loving already! The Biotherm Skin Oxygen Cooling Gel feels amazing after a face mask and really cools the skin!
Then there’s the Clinique Moisture Surge, which I’ve been using every single morning since I got it and I absolutely love it! I already mentioned this a couple of times on the blog and I just can’t get enough of it!
Of course, I’ve been testing and using my The Ordinary acids as well but I’ve planned a post on both of them for next week so stay tuned for that! I have the Salicylic Acid 2% Solution, which I use in the morning and the Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, which I use in the evening after my cleanser!
And last but not least I have two more Clinique products which I’m not 100% satisfied with yet. The Pep-Start Eye Cream has a lovely texture but I don’t see an effect at all, which is a bit disappointing. It’s the same with the Liquid Facial Soap but I’ll make sure to give them a few more gos before actually stating an opinion on them!
